mybox7 pays tribute to Michael Jackson

Just over 2 weeks ago, the world heard some tragic news, the loss of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, an Idol for most of us growing up and a pioneer in music.

The news saddened the world, brought tears to even the coldest hearts, but for someone who has been a MJ fan all his life, looked upon Michael Jackson for his inspiration, this news hurt him - BAD!

Like other fans, he mourned; he celebrated Michael Jackson’s music and even wrote his feelings on paper, an ode to the genius that carved his musical career:

Michael Jackson, Where you gone man?
Just goes to show, you’re now in much better hands,
If you didn’t give us music or even make us see,
We wouldn’t know how entertainment really could be,
Stance of a solider, heart no one could read,
A man with so much passion, you just affect me,
Who’s loving you? And who had the key?
From all of us right here you are our memories,
With much more to say, except your ‘Hee Hee’s’
I honestly say your just, another part of me.

The significance of the number 7

Another client asked me today, “What does the number 7 in mybox7 stand for?” There are a number of reasons as to why we chose the number 7, for instance, there are 7 sections to the mybox7 website, number 7 is a lucky number (numerology) and it has taken 7 months to develop the mybox7 site from an idea that was discussed on the 7^th July (07/07).  These were just a few reasons as to why we chose the number 7. 

 

I have listed 77 interesting know how’s about the number 7 that also helped influence our decision and we wanted to share these with you.  Email us if you have any other interesting facts on the number 7.

1 Seven is the optimum number of hours of sleep for humans, according to a US scientific study.

2 Seven is seen as a lucky number in many cultures. Japanese mythology talks of Shichifukujin (The Seven Gods of Fortune).

3 The seven deadly sins, or cardinal sins, were refined by Pope Gregory I in the 6th century. They are pride, avarice, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.

A warm welcome from the mybox7 team to one of the most interactive blogs on the internet!

mybox7 is a concept like no other - it takes advertising to another realm…it makes internet advertising three dimensional and allows users to create their own “QVC” styled adverts.

You are probably thinking what these guys are on about, so let me explain.  It is so SIMPLE.

Results have shown that when you see a static image advertising goods, you don’t seem to remember it as much.  However, if you watch television adverts, you are 7 times more likely to remember them, which is the same as video advertising and the logic that underpins mybox7.

Keep tuned, as there is no stopping the mybox7 team.
